Western Copper and Gold Corporation (TSX: WRN, NYSE American: WRN)  is developing the Casino Project, which is both a copper and a gold project. The company is currently in the permitting phase and announced a positive Feasibility in June. Casino has the potential to become an important Copper-Gold mine in Canada and a possible flagship mine for the Yukon Territory. Access road funding has been secured. 

The Feasibility Study considered the Project being constructed as an open pit mine, with a concentrator processing 120,000 tonnes per day (t/d) to recover copper, gold, molybdenum, and silver, as well as a 25,000 t/d oxide heap leach facility to recover gold, silver, and copper.
