Frequently Asked Questions
Below are some frequently asked questions for issuers participating in this year's Gentile Mining Investor Forum, covering everything from the day's schedule and investor meetings to travel and logistics. For anything not covered below, reach out to the Amvest Capital Team at gentileforum@amvestcapital.com.
About the Forum
-
The inaugural Gentile Mining Investor Forum is a full-day investor conference in London that brings institutional investors, wealth managers, and family offices together with mining and resource companies for structured one-on-one meetings and company showcases. Michael Gentile created this conference to give serious investors direct, in-person access to a select group of companies he has backed with genuine conviction. The Forum is his answer to a market underserved by generic investor conferences: real conviction, real access, and real relationships.
-
Monday, October 19, 2026, at 116 Pall Mall, home of the Institute of Directors, in Mayfair, central London.
-
This invitation-only event will bring together around 150 institutional investors, family offices, wealth management firms, and sector-focused high-net-worth individuals in the heart of London.
-
We have confirmed several sponsors of the event, and are finalizing details with them now. Sponsors will be announced soon.
-
The day begins at 7:00 AM with issuer arrival and setup, followed by registration and investor arrival at 7:30. Breakfast and the opening keynote run from 8:00 to 9:00 AM, leading into a morning of investor meetings and issuer showcases from 8:30 to 11:30 AM. Attendees break for an executive lunch and speaker panel from 12:00 to 1:30 PM, before afternoon investor meetings and issuer showcases resume from 2:00 to 4:30 PM, running alongside the afternoon networking reception until 5:00 PM. The day closes at 5:00 PM.
-
Michael Gentile delivers the opening keynote during the Breakfast session.
The lunch panel will feature Michael Gentile, Jim Luke of Schroders, David Finch of Ixios Asset Management, and be moderated by Matt Gordon of Crux Investor.
-
The Investor Lounge is the Forum's central hub for the day, where investors and issuers pass through and connect between formal sessions. Refreshments will be available throughout the day, with the lounge transitioning into a pub after lunch. The Forum closes with a Networking Reception, the final opportunity for investors and issuers to connect before the program wraps.
Investor Meetings & Issuer Showcases
-
Meetings are curated based on genuine investor interest rather than booked simply to fill a schedule. Each issuer has a numbered table as its home base for the day, and meetings run in structured 20 to 25 minute blocks throughout the morning and afternoon.
-
London-only issuers can expect up to 10 scheduled meetings, a mix of one-on-one conversations and small-group discussions. There will also be numerous opportunities for organic networking throughout the day.
-
Attendees will include institutional investors, high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and accredited investors. There may also be generalist investors in attendance. Every investor is pre-qualified and screened before attending.
-
Two presentation rooms run in parallel throughout the day, with 15 minutes for your presentation, five minutes for Q&A, and five minutes for changeover. Your slot is the only session in that room, so you have investors' full attention with no competing sessions. Time slots will be announced to attendees in advance so they can self-select attending, and our team will actively promote your slot to investors who are perhaps unable to secure an individual meeting with your team.
Each room will be equipped with a 75” Plasma screen. You will present from your own laptop. Clickers and multi-plug connectors will be available to ensure you’re able to connect. The rooms will staffed by AV techs throughout the day to triage any issues that may arise.
There will be no microphones in Showcase rooms, as they aren’t necessary.
-
Each issuer table in the meeting room will be equipped with power via an extension cord.
You should plan to bring your laptop, chargers, a UK power adapter, and additional extension cords if needed. A portable monitor and/or tablet are useful as a second screen and may be a worthwhile, low-cost investment, especially for small group meetings.
You should have a concise deck to show on your own laptop, one-page handouts, a minimum of ten (10) printed flipbooks, and business cards. Issuers are responsible for printing their own materials for their meetings.
All attendees will receive a program booklet that includes a dedicated page for each company, produced by Amvest Capital. There will also be an conference app accessible for attendees via their smartphones.
-
The Forum uses Swapcard for both investor registration and meeting scheduling. Investors register through Swapcard beginning the week of August 17, and every registration is reviewed before attendance is confirmed.
The conference Swapcard app will open the week of September 14 for investors and issuers to begin scheduling one-on-ones via the platform. Instructions will follow. -
Meeting coordination is handled manually through mid-September. Starting the week of September 14, Swapcard's self-serve scheduling opens, matching investors and issuers with AI-based recommendations, one-click booking, and calendar sync. The platform also provides Attendee Intelligence, giving issuers visibility into who they will be meeting. Issuers can also set up meetings on their own with investors directly through the platform.
-
Your schedule will be available via the Swapcard app, and will include information on each investor in attendance, including those you will be meeting with individually. Bios, contact information, etc. will be available on the platform in advance.
Schedules are subject to change up until the day of the Forum in order to optimize your time and schedule, and will be updated on the platform in real time.
-
Yes. Amvest Capital will provide a full post-Forum report, including investor feedback, in the weeks following the event. Attendee contact details will be shared in accordance with applicable UK and EU data protection laws.
