Colonial Coal International Corporation (CCIC)(TSX-V: CAD, OTC: CCARF) is a pure-play metallurgical coal development company. It currently has total interest in two resource stage coal properties in the Peace River Coalfield in northeastern British Columbia, Canada. In September 2012, CCIC published a NI 43-101 reporting 189 Mt of Measured & Indicated plus 194 Mt of Inferred resources of metallurgical coal on the Huguenot property. The development focus in 2017 was on the Flatbed property. In January of 2018, the company published an NI 43-101 reporting an Inferred resource of 298 Mt of metallurgical coal. Bringing the total metallurgical coal reserves, between the two properties, to 681 Mt. David Austin (President, CEO & Chairman) co-founded and built Western Coal Corp., which was sold to Walter Energy in 2010 for CAD$3.3 billion and is credited for the exploration, development, and sale of Northern Energy & Mining Inc. (NEMI) to Anglo for +CAD$400 million
