Standard Uranium Ltd. (TSX-V: STND; OTCQB coming soon) Davidson River Project, in the southwest part of the Athabasca Basin, Saskatchewan, is comprised of 21 mineral claims over 25,886 hectares. The Davidson River Project is highly prospective for basement hosted uranium deposits, yet remains untested by drilling, despite its location on-trend from recent high-grade uranium discoveries.
Garrett Ainsworth helped assemble Standard Uranium’s projects, and most recently, he was at NexGen Energy Ltd., Where he led the technical team and all exploration activities with the discovery of the Arrow deposit. For his work at NexGen, Garrett was co-recipient of the 2018 PDAC Bill Dennis Award & the 2016 Mines & Money Exploration award. Before that, Ainsworth was the Vice President Exploration at Alpha Minerals Inc., and project managed the discovery of the Patterson Lake South high-grade uranium boulder field and drill discovery of the Triple R uranium deposit.
Davidson River drill targets are fully permitted and mapped. The inaugural drill program is Q3 2020. The Davidson River Project is a land package that has never been drilled for uranium and with the potential for further Patterson Lake Uranium District discoveries
